E25 Value Finder 11" X 14" This is a very useful tool for every artist. The red film gets rid of any color and you only see values. Usually if there is a problem on a painting it is almost always value. This large size allows you to see your painting and your resource material at the same time so that you can effectively judge your values. Value strip is included. The Value Finder is sturdy, well made product. If you're in the market for one, don't hesitate, buy this one. I'll be back for the smaller size to take Plein Air.

For years I used a small value too for quilting to evaluate my artwork. I eventually lost it. I just received the E25 viewfinder and couldn’t be happier! It’s perfect!! I’m so happy to find this tool! Thanks Edgmonart!

A painter friend showed me her quick, effective method of nailing values with Edgmon’s value finder and I’ve made it an essential part of my own practice.

I have had several very small value finders, but this larger one is simply than all the rest. Perfect for large scale plein air painting.

In know,intellectually, the need to first evaluate an image based on value. Yet color always skews that process. This is a good size handy tool to move those critical thinking, first painting processes along. Thanks.
